• Injection Units

The Maplan FIFO rubber injection unit has been proven for many years and is still the unsurpassed component of Maplan rubber injection moulding machines. Decisive advantages lie in the brilliant simplicity of their structure, and the performance and accuracy of the system. The Maplan FIFO rubber injection unit allows an injection pressure of up to 2,500 bar on the tool with the aid of an extremely short nozzle and minimal pressure drop.

  • Clamp Units

The task of the clamping unit of a rubber injection moulding machine lies in its safe and powerful holding together of the tool whereby an even transfer of force over the entire area of the clamping plates is guaranteed. In order to meet this requirement, the Maplan clamping systems use the holding capacity of the massive hydraulic cylinders which are directly located within the range of the machine axis.

  • Cooldrive - Energy Saving

About one third of the energy consumption of the rubber injection moulding machines is caused by the drive. The Maplan drive unit Cool Drive II, which is based on constant-volume pumps with a servo motor drive, allows adjustment of pump activity and hence the power required for the actual speed. The drive can thus save energy of as much as a sensational 70% because of the process-based cycle breaks of hydraulic consumption. Furthermore, there is a significantly lower energy input into the hydraulic oil, therefore changing oil is less often and oil coolant is not needed. This leads to a reduction of water consumption, and hence a further reduction of the total energy demands
